Lore & Background
Antonee Robinson's path to the USMNT began in England, where he was born in Milton Keynes and raised in Liverpool. His father Marlon emigrated to the United States, settling in White Plains, New York, and later naturalizing as a US citizen, making Robinson eligible for both England and the United States. He came through Everton's academy from age 11, signing a scholarship in June 2013. Injuries sidelined him for much of his youth career, including torn cartilage under his kneecap that required surgery, but he persevered. After loan spells with Bolton Wanderers and a permanent move to Wigan Athletic, a transfer to AC Milan fell through in January 2020 due to a heart rhythm irregularity discovered during his medical. He underwent an ablation procedure as treatment and later moved to Fulham in August 2020 for £2 million. Robinson made his USMNT senior debut on May 28, 2018, playing the full 90 minutes in a 3–0 friendly win against Bolivia and recording an assist. He was selected in the 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup on May 26, 2026.

In a 3–4 defeat to Liverpool, he made 13 interceptions—the most in a Premier League match since 2009. In that same game, he became the first American to record 3 consecutive assists in the Premier League. The performance was widely praised and cemented his reputation as one of the league's best left-backs. He finished the 2023–24 season with 37 league appearances and the most interceptions in the Premier League, with 81 occasions, 15 more than the second-highest player. His efforts earned him the 2023–24 Fulham Player of the Season award.
